Newark - Getting here by River

The River Trent is 170 miles long and is England's fourth longest river. Navigation was improved in 1773 with the building of the Trent Navigation and locks.

This along with improvements to Great North Road meant that the town flourished as an important commercial centre.

Newark has 3 different marinas available also many mooring positions along the river.
